ELIZABETH’S STORY
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BR89FN9T/
For almost 18 years I’ve been working on a memoir about my mother’s life. The creation of the Kindle Vella platform has motivated me to publish Mama’s story in serialized format. It allows me to publish what I have honed for years, and it inspires me to finish the last few bits of the story for the many family, friends, and acquaintances who touched Mama’s life.
The story takes the reader through many Salvation Army experiences, good and bad. Her years are chronicled at the Elmira Corps, and later in Pittsburgh, right on through to her days at San Francisco Citadel, San Jose, and finally, at the Fresno Citadel Corps. If you’re part of the Salvation Army—soldier, adherent, officer, advisory board member, volunteer—you will find the story interesting and informative.
Elizabeth’s Story also touches the US Navy, the submarine service, in particular. Freddie, the love of Elizabeth’s life, becomes an electrician’s mate aboard the USS Pompano submarine during World War II. People with family histories that also share military connections will find riveting detail about Elizabeth’s experiences as a Navy wife.
When you read the story, doing any or all of the following will be helpful:
- Like each episode you read with a thumbs up.
- Choose to Follow the story.
- At the end of the week choose to Crown Elizabeth’s Story as a FAV.
- And if you really want to be helpful, write a review.
Blessings to all!
